Setting Up Your Waiting List
The full application feature in RevoList allows you to gather comprehensive information about an applicant family that is not captured in the pre-application. Typically, the full application is used to verify eligibility for housing programs. You can choose whether to use a full application or a pre-application for applicants applying to the waiting list. If a pre-application is initially used, you can later update it to a full application, and the applicant family will be notified of the change.
During the setup of a waiting list, you have the option to choose the default application type that will be presented to the applicant family upon applying.
The Difference Between Application Types
Pre-Application
This default application type is used to facilitate a fast and easy way for an applicant to apply to a waiting list. It contains the minimum details necessary for the applicant to be ranked on the waiting list.
If this application type is used as the default for a waiting list, you can request a full application from the applicant family at any time during the lifecycle of the application, which generally occurs when the applicant family has been selected and eligibility verification is necessary.
Full Application
This default application type is used to collect detailed information about the applicant family upfront, bypassing the pre-application.
By choosing the appropriate application type, you can streamline the process and ensure you gather the necessary information when it's needed.
